Ingredients

  • Slider Assembly: 12 soft slider buns or dinner rolls 250 g (about 9 oz) sliced cooked ham 150 g (about 5 oz) sliced Swiss or cheddar cheese 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional) 2 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard (optional)
  • Topping: 50 g (3.5 tbsp) unsalted butter melted 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional) ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Lightly grease a 23x33 cm (9x13-inch) baking dish.
Step 2:
Slice the slider buns horizontally keeping the tops and bottoms intact Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
Step 3:
Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the buns if using Layer half the cheese then all the ham then the remaining cheese over the buns.
Step 4:
Place the bun tops over the layers.
Step 5:
In a small bowl mix the melted butter honey or brown sugar Worcestershire sauce poppy seeds garlic powder onion powder and salt.
Step 6:
Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders.
Step 7:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is melted.
Step 8:
Cut and serve warm.
