# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The salmon gets impossibly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside, and you can have it ready in under 35 minutes.
  • It feels fancy enough for company but honest enough that you'll actually make it for yourself on a Tuesday.
  • Every component is customizable, so you can adjust the heat, the crunch, even the base depending on what's in your fridge.
02 -
  • Don't skip turning the salmon halfway through cooking—that's what gets you the crispy, caramelized exterior on all sides.
  • Add the avocado at the very last second, not before, or it'll turn an ugly brown color and lose that buttery texture.
03 -
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket—give your salmon bites room to breathe so they get crispy instead of steamed.
  • Make your spicy mayo to taste; there's no shame in using less sriracha or adding extra lime juice depending on your heat tolerance and mood.
