# What you'll need:
→ Probiotic Base
01 - 4 cups filtered water
02 - 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons water kefir grains or ginger bug
04 - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
→ Flavoring
05 - 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
06 - 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
07 - 8 fresh mint leaves
08 - 4 thin orange slices, for garnish
09 - Ice cubes, for serving
# Method:
01 - In a clean glass jar, dissolve the organic cane sugar in the filtered water. Add the water kefir grains or ginger bug along with the fresh lemon juice. Stir gently using a non-metallic spoon.
02 - Cover the jar with a breathable cloth or coffee filter secured with a rubber band. Allow to ferment at room temperature (68–77°F) for 24 to 48 hours, until the mixture becomes slightly effervescent and tangy.
03 - Remove and strain out the kefir grains or ginger bug using a fine mesh strainer. Discard or reserve cultures as desired for subsequent batches.
04 - Transfer the fermented base to a pitcher. Add the orange juice, lime juice, and fresh mint leaves. Stir to combine evenly.
05 - Fill individual glasses with ice cubes. Pour the prepared soda mocktail over the ice and garnish each with a thin orange slice and additional mint leaves if preferred.
06 - Serve immediately for optimal carbonation and freshness.
