# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • You literally cannot mess this up because there's no cooking involved—just stirring and waiting.
  • It's the perfect excuse to eat chocolate chips for breakfast without any guilt whatsoever.
  • Your morning self will thank your night-before self for this act of kindness.
02 -
  • If you don't stir before eating, all the good stuff settles to the bottom and you'll get a disappointing watery spoonful first—learned that the hard way.
  • These keep perfectly for up to 3 days in the fridge, which means you can make a batch and have breakfasts ready for those mornings when you absolutely cannot function.
03 -
  • Use a mason jar instead of a bowl—it looks prettier, you can see what's happening inside, and you can literally grab it and eat straight from the jar if you're running late.
  • The magic ratio is roughly equal parts oats and liquid (1:1), but the chia seeds and yogurt add so much thickness that you might need less milk than you'd expect.
