# Method:
01 - Combine warm milk and active dry yeast in a small bowl. Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes until frothy.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Add yeast mixture, egg, and softened butter. Mix until a soft dough develops.
03 - Transfer dough onto a floured surface and knead by hand for 6 to 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm environment for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
04 - Beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg yolk, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and creamy. Reserve for assembly.
05 - Combine all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add cold, cubed butter and use fingertips to blend until a coarse crumb forms.
06 - Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
07 - Deflate risen dough and divide into 8 equal portions. Shape each into a ball, then press into 4-inch rounds. Arrange evenly on prepared baking sheet.
08 - Create a depression in the center of each round with your fingers or the back of a spoon. Add 2 tablespoons of coffee cream cheese filling into each indentation, then sprinkle with crumb topping.
09 - Transfer to oven and bake for 22 to 25 minutes until pastries are golden brown. Let cool on pan for 10 minutes.
10 - For glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk or coffee until smooth. Drizzle over cooled pastries as desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
